Rotary Club of Pakenham Inc.
17th Annual Golf Day Friday 25th May 2018.

What a difference two weeks can make!  Our scheduled day on 11th May was forecast for bad weather so a decision was made early to reschedule to 25th May.   That was a good move, the 11th was cold, wet and windy and the 25th was perfect for golf.  No wind not even a breeze, bright sunshine and a pleasant 16 degrees.

We had 48 players who all enjoyed the day.  What could have been a complete disaster turned into a very successful event.   After play all enjoyed a bbq, which was followed by presentation of prizes to the winner.

Our auction was once again very successful with some lively bidding and good results.  We have some items left over which we will sell privately.

Once again our sponsors supported us with outstanding generosity, which is greatly appreciated.  I extend my grateful thanks to all who assisted on the day, Tim Ahern, Grant Austen, Graeme Begg, George Blenkhorn, Sam Biondo, Lyn and Noel Bunce, Barry Morris, Peter Rowlands, and Terry Williams.

The sponsors make it profitable, the players make it fun and the helpers make it happen.  Thanks to all.
