Last Week's Speaker  Jordon Crugnale.

Jordon  is the Member of the Legislative Assembly
for the Electorate of Bass in the Victorian State Government,
she gave a brief, but interesting talk about her background
and how she became a member of Parliament.
Her Italian parents migrated to Western Australia in the 1960s, where she was born.  After leaving school at 16 she worked in various jobs before going overseas to teach English as a second language in several counties including Mexico and Guatemala.  She now lives in Inverloch and after a 4-year term as am Councillor with the Bass Coast Council she joined the ALP and was elected to the State Government at the last election. This was followed by a lively and entertaining Question and Answer session in which most members got involved.  All managed to keep the questions reasonably non- political.  Jordan was very amenable and added greatly to a very enjoyable night.  She was happy to answer a few more critical questions after the meeting.
