Rota-Potato Project.
In 1977-78 a most successful project was held. Member Charles Huyskens set aside a paddock on his farm for the club to grow a crop of potatoes. Under Charlie’s supervision, and hard work by club members a very profitable crop was produced giving substantial profit in the vicinity of 3,000 pounds ($6,000).
