A Rotary Vocational Excellence Award was presented to Ricky McHugh at the Pakenham Golf Club Presentation Night.
Course Superintendant, Ricky started as an apprentice in 1988. He leads a small dedicated team that maintains the course in magnificent condition.
During the summer Rick starts watering at 9:00pm and returns to the course every hour until 3:00am to move hoses. He then starts with the team at 7:00am the next day.
A very worthy recipient of the award and he and the golf club were very appreciative of the recognition.
